The Opportunity

As a Senior Home & Furniture Designer, you will create and develop innovative products across a wide range of home and lifestyle categories, including mirrors, storage, lighting, furniture, candles and home fragrance, bath and body, travel accessories, tote bags, and more.

This role combines creative vision, trend forecasting, and product development expertise to bring commercially successful products to market. Working closely with Product Development, Production, and global vendor partners, you will transform concepts into compelling consumer products that balance innovation, functionality, and design excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities
• Own the development of original products within your category from initial concept through final sample approval.
• Create original prints, patterns, textures, and surface designs, ensuring seamless application across a variety of product types, materials, and constructions.
• Build detailed tech packs, specifications, and construction guidelines that preserve design intent throughout the manufacturing process.
• Research and translate global market trends, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence into actionable product concepts and assortments.
• Collaborate with Product Development and global vendor partners to refine material selection, improve functionality, and resolve technical fabrication challenges.

  

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, Fine Arts, Product Design, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in textile, surface, or product design, preferably within home décor, accessories, furniture, lifestyle, or fashion categories.
• Strong understanding of color theory, print and pattern development, material selection, and trend forecasting.
• Strong technical knowledge of textile or hard goods construction, materials, sourcing, and manufacturing processes.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Portfolio showcasing diverse product, textile, or surface design work, including prints, patterns, constructions, and product development projects. Please include with your application.

Salary: $90,000 -$120,000

Compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, skills, qualifications, market conditions, and internal equity.
