Wonder Spark Learning is a remote tutoring platform helping students aged 7–18 build real confidence in Mandarin Chinese. We pair curious, motivated learners with passionate teachers who make language come alive — not just memorization.

We're growing and looking for a native Mandarin-speaking teacher who loves working with kids and teens, adapts naturally to different learning styles, and can make an online lesson feel like the most engaging part of a student's week.

What you'll do

Teach 1-on-1 or small group Mandarin lessons online to students aged 7–18 across beginner to advanced levels. You'll plan your own lessons, track student progress, and keep families updated as needed. We keep admin light so you can focus on teaching.

You're a great fit if you:

• Are a native Mandarin speaker with strong English communication skills
  
• Have experience teaching children or teenagers (classroom, tutoring, or online)
  
• Hold a Bachelor's degree — a degree in Chinese Education, Education, Linguistics, or a related field is strongly preferred
  
• Are comfortable and confident teaching online with a webcam and reliable internet
  
• Have a quiet, professional space to teach from
  
• Are available to start within the next 4 weeks
  
• Reside in the United States
  

Schedule & pay

• Fully remote — you set your own availability, no fixed hours required
  
• $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience
  
• Independent contractor position
