Job Description

Salary: $110,000 - 120,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Over 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or a related domain
• Relevant cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent
• More than 5 years of hands-on experience with software development methodologies like Agile, Scrum, or Kanban
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Microsoft Azure
• Proficient in automation tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or Terraform
• Proven capability in managing cloud infrastructure and services, including provisioning, monitoring, and scaling

• Directly manage the design, maintenance, configuration, optimization, and upgrades of our cloud infrastructure utilizing platforms like AWS
• Monitor key performance indicators to ensure the teams service delivery aligns with company standards
• Oversee daily Cloud Engineering project delivery and associated tasks
• Serve as the technical manager for the Cloud Engineering team, driving standard processes and troubleshooting methods
• Assist engineering teams throughout all stages of project life cycles with technical issues
• Provide training and guidance to team members
• Evaluate and approve solutions proposed by Cloud Engineers
• Take ownership of the infrastructure for automated builds, testing, continual integration, software releases, and system deployment
• Create a modern continuous deployment platform using advanced technologies like containers and service mesh
• Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders to present information and recommendations
• Investigate and debug environmental issues before and after deployments in collaboration with engineers and vendors
• Adhere to company protocols to maintain the highest level of security for client Personal Identifiable Information (PII)
