The Position:

As we continue our growth trajectory, we are looking to bring on a Warehouse Associate to work at our Clinton, CT facility. Work schedule is Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm. Some weekends and overtime. Must be able to also travel to Trumbull, CT facility. 

The Warehouse Associate handles exhibit materials in and out, making sure the exhibit properties are accounted for and in good condition in anticipation of the next use. Using forklift, pallet jack or picker lift equipment, the warehouse associate transfers freight from where it is stored to where it needs to be worked on, and then upon return, inspects the materials, reports on the condition, and returns the items to storage.

Responsibilities include:

• · Unload and load trucks with a forklift or pallet jack
  
• · Maintains Housekeeping of warehouse and staging areas
  
• · Inbound handling/inspection of exhibit properties returned from events including reporting.
  
• · Returning Materials to storage after inbound inspections are complete.
  
• · Repair minor crate damage
  
• · Test fit and pack down of smaller simpler projects.
  
• · Reports to Traffic and Warehouse Manager, or Asset Management Supervisor
  

About You:

• You have a High school diploma or GED and some relevant work experience.
  
• Forklift and/or picker lift experience a plus
  
• Detail orientation
  
• Ability to handle large and awkward items; ability to lift up to 50 lbs 
  
• Proficiency with Basic computer skills (some email and internet)
  
• Valid driver's license (may travel using work vehicles between company locations)
  
• Ability to obtain a medical card for driving.
  
• CDL is a plus.
  
• Flexibility, ability to work independently
  
• Willingness to learn - will train!
