Job Overview

TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced RN – OB/GYN for travel assignments . This role focuses on providing comprehensive care to women throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum , as well as assisting with gynecological treatments and procedures. The ideal candidate has strong patient education skills, clinical expertise, and a compassionate approach to women's health .

Responsibilities

  • Provide prenatal, labor, and postpartum care to patients.
  • Assist with gynecological procedures, exams, and screenings .
  • Monitor fetal development and maternal health .
  • Educate patients on reproductive health, pregnancy, and postpartum care .
  • Administer medications, IV fluids, and pain management treatments .
  • Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals .
  • Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately .
  • Travel to various hospitals and clinics for temporary assignments .

Qualifications

  • Education: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license .
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in OB/GYN, Labor & Delivery, or Women’s Health .
  • Certifications: BLS and ACLS required; NRP preferred.
  • Skills: Strong maternal-fetal assessment, patient education, and communication skills .
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work 12-hour shifts and assist patients as needed .
  • Travel Readiness: Open to temporary travel assignments .
