The Special Education Resource Room Teacher develops, implements, and monitors Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with varied disabilities. They adapt general education curricula, provide specialized instruction in one-on-one or small group settings, and collaborate with parents and specialists to support academic, social, and emotional growth. Key duties include assessing student needs, maintaining compliance records, and managing classroom behavior.
Pay : $40.00/hr - $55.00/hr (negotiable)
PTO : 2 weeks, accrues.
Holidays : 6 paid holidays - Memorial Day is the next upcoming holiday.
Work Options : W2 or 1099
Benefits : Medical/Dental/Vision through BCBS - partially contributed into if you choose W2. There will be costs on your end.
Snow Days : These are unpaid. For contract positions, you normally get paid for the hours you work. (Until/or the school converts you to a direct employee)
