Job Description

Salary: $216,418.5 - 216,418.5 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a closely related discipline.
• We require at least five years of experience as a Software Engineer, Programmer Analyst, or in a similar role.
• We require five years of hands-on experience building petabyte-scale data management platforms.
• We require five years of experience tuning data processing clusters for both cost effectiveness and performance.
• We require five years of experience designing serving systems that deliver high throughput, low latency, and high QPS in a cost-efficient, spike-resilient way.
• We require five years of experience building cloud-based infrastructure using Python, Java, or Scala.
• We require five years of experience writing SQL queries for analytical use cases.

• We develop fast, resilient, and scalable tools for company-wide data ingestion, mining, and processing.
• We design orchestration for large-scale post-processing workflows and computational pipelines.
• We contribute to the development, refinement, and launch of the next-generation cloud data processing platform using Beam and Spark.
• We build self-service features that help customers adopt the new data processing platform.
• We own the design, implementation, testing, and ongoing improvement of distributed cloud data systems using modern cloud technologies.
• We drive engineering excellence by continuously enhancing systems and operational processes.
• We lead technical projects from inception through completion and help shape the teams product roadmap.
• We make key technical decisions and weigh tradeoffs that affect system design and delivery.
• We actively participate in planning sessions, code reviews, and design discussions.
• We evaluate the broader impact of our work across multiple teams and proactively address conflicts.
• We collaborate with partner teams and other organizations to achieve shared goals and meet cross-functional requirements.
• We conduct technical interviews using consistent, well-calibrated standards and support recruiting efforts.
• We work in a fully remote capacity, with 100% telecommuting available.
