Location: Suzhou, Jiangsu Province

We are an established K-12 institution in Suzhou New District offering an integrated international curriculum that synthesizes quality programs from the UK, USA, and China. English is taught as a first language by foreign teachers alongside professional Chinese English teachers, creating an immersive bilingual environment. Our primary program covers English Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Writing, and Global Hot Topics (current events discussion).

Position: Primary Homeroom Teacher
Student Level: Primary
Start Date: August 2026
Work Schedule
• Hours: 7:40 AM – 4:30 PM
• Lunch Break: 1.5 hours
• Teaching Load: 20 classes per week (40 minutes per class)
Requirements
1. Native English speaker from English-speaking countries
2. Bachelor's degree or above (authenticated)
3. Minimum 2 years (24 months) related teaching experience OR relevant teaching certificate
4. Health check report
5. Eligible for Chinese work visa (Z-visa)

Job Responsibilities
• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials; deliver classes punctually and as scheduled
• Share homeroom teacher duties, including attending class activities, meeting with parents, and handling unexpected classroom issues
• Test and grade students in compliance with school requirements
• Participate in classroom observations and evaluations
• Maintain effective communication with co-teachers to ensure successful instruction
• No part-time employment outside the school as per visa regulations
Compensation & Benefits
• Basic Salary: 20,000 RMB+/month
• Annual Bonus: 10,000 RMB+
• Air Ticket Allowance: 10,000 RMB/year
• Housing: Up to 3,800 RMB/month allowance OR on-campus dormitory

Application Process
1. Initial Contact — WeChat group set up with academic director for scheduling and Q&A
2. Interview — With department director/head
3. Demo Class — Recorded video or live demo (20–40 min) showcasing communication skills, creativity, and teaching fundamentals; may include previous classroom footage, adult workshop, or simulated lesson
4. Contract Offer — Upon successful interview and demo
5. Negotiation & Signing — Contract terms finalized and signed
6. Visa Support — Assistance with work permit and Z-visa application or visa transfer
Demo Class Requirements:
• Duration: 20–40 minutes
• Include 1–2 clear learning objectives
• Structured learning experiences
• Formative check or assessment
• Conclusion or reflection

Visa Documentation
Applying from Outside China:
• Copy of passport
• Chinese embassy-authenticated degree
• Chinese embassy-authenticated non-criminal record
• Health check-up report
• 2 years of original work letters/release letters
• Timeline: ~3 weeks for Work Permit Notice; then apply for 30-day Z-visa
Currently in China (Valid Residence Permit):
• Copy of passport
• Chinese embassy-authenticated degree
• Signed non-criminal promise (provided by school) + old non-criminal record if available
• Local health check-up report (China)
• 2 years of original work letters/release letters
• Old Work Permit Card Cancellation Paper
• Timeline: ~3 weeks for new Work Permit
