Our client is seeking Occupational Therapist for Hudson County Starting at $85/hour.

This is a School environment for care of Kindergarten through 4th grade.
Compensation: $85.00
30 hours per week
Schedule Varies

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY
* Assessing the patient's physical, communication and cognitive skills to develop a treatment plan
* Giving advice and providing support for family members.
* Assessing the home, school and work environments of the patient
* Installing the necessary equipment in the classroom for children with disabilities and teaching them how to use the equipment
* Helping children and adult patients to take part in everyday activities based on their unique circumstances
* Assisting patients' exercise for pain relief
* Reviewing the patient's progress and adapting the treatment accordingly
* Performing administrative tasks such as keeping records, writing reports and making telephone calls

CLIENT'S REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
* Minimum of a Master's Degree
* Minimum of two (2) years experience in Child Study field
* NJ State Certifications
* Experience treating young adult populations
* Ability to complete and pass background checks prior to starting
* School based experience with Administrative Codes, Rules and Regulations
* Experience with Time Management, Deadlines, Diverse School Settings
* Familiar with evaluations, therapy, and case management
* Must be willing to obtain register/archive fingerprints under Delta-T Group codes.
