Job Title: Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (OB/GYN)

Location: Scottsdale, Arizona

Hours & Schedule: Full-Time

Work Environment: Outpatient women’s health clinical setting

Salary / Hourly Rate: $120,000 – $160,000 annually (based on experience)

Job Summary:

The Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant (OB/GYN) provides comprehensive women’s health services, including obstetric and gynecologic care, preventive services, and patient education. Working closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team, this role focuses on assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and ongoing management to support optimal patient outcomes.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive and episodic health assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions including prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic care
  • Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic and therapeutic tests
  • Perform well-woman exams, contraceptive counseling, STI testing and treatment, and appropriate referrals
  • Collaborate in antenatal and postnatal care with physicians and midwifery colleagues
  • Provide health promotion, disease prevention, and wellness education
  • Partner with the interdisciplinary team to deliver holistic, patient-centered care
  • Maintain accurate, confidential medical records in accordance with legal and professional standards
  • Stay current with research and evidence-based practices in women’s health
  • Offer empathetic guidance and support to address patient concerns and treatment options

Prerequisites / License & Certification Requirements:

  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program completed in the United States
  • Active Arizona Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
  • National certification (WHNP preferred; FNP with women’s health experience acceptable)
  • Minimum of 2–3 years of clinical experience, preferably in women’s health or OB/GYN
  • Strong skills in gynecologic exams, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-focused approach
