*Job Title Multi-Categorical Special Education Teacher
*Job Type Certified - Position - Special Education Teacher Middle School
Successful applicant will work with identified MD students in accordance with their IEPs in grades 6-8 ensure all procedural safeguards are followed; provide appropriate instruction to assist IEP students in reaching goals; establishing and following behavior management plans along with other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Salary Schedule
Berkeley County Schools Teacher Pay Scale based upon degree level and verified years of experience. 200-day employment term.
Specialized Skills
A minimum of a Bachelors degree and hold or be eligible for West Virginia licensure with endorsement(s) in Multi-categorical Special Education with appropriate grade levels.
ABA trained is preferred but the successful applicant will be provided ABA training if needed.

If a certified candidate is unavailable for this position then an applicant who is eligible for a first-class permit alternative certification Teacher-in-Residence or a perm sub can be considered.
