Job Description
Our client is looking for a urology coding pro to jump in and help navigate complex reimbursement landscapes and technical advisory projects. You’ll be the go-to expert for CPT and RUC processes, handling everything from deep-dive code research to analyzing large survey datasets. To land this one, you absolutely must have your CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification and rock-solid experience specifically in the urology field. This is a flexible, part-time remote gig, but you’ll need to be available for a mandatory week of on-site support at a major annual meeting this May. Mandatory: Certified Professional Coder Cert & Urology billing experience
salary: $40 - $41 per hour

Responsibilities
- Payer Monitoring: Track insurance coverage updates and MAC LCDs to advise on evolving payment policies.
- Inquiry Triage: Manage and respond to high-volume technical requests regarding complex urology claims and billing.
- Coding Advisory: Provide expert urology-specific coding, billing, and reimbursement guidance to practitioners and staff.
- Regulatory Advocacy: Assist with CPT and RUC processes by analyzing data and preparing formal code change applications.
The essential functions of this role include:
