Aerotek is currently hiring for maintenance mechanics in the Harrisonburg, VA area! Qualified candidates will be able to perform the following duties:

Job Description:

• Will be performing repairs and preventive maintenance on food processing equipment and material handling equipment including but not limited to conveyors, gear boxes, pumps, motors, filler machines, cutting machines, etc.
• Repairs will be both mechanical and electrical
• Will also be responsible for breaking down machinery to be cleaned and startup of the machinery
• Will be limited troubleshooting as the machines aren't running at night
• Will work within a CMMS system for PMs and work orders.

Job Qualifications:

• Intermediate level of mechanical experience
• Intermediate of Electrical/Control experience such as being able to Install electrical/ electronic devices and system used in manufacturing facilities and plants
• Experience with reading electrical schematic
• Be able to troubleshoot electrical equipment using Ladder logic and electrical schematic
• Intermediate level of pneumatic and Hydraulic system troubleshooting
• Troubleshooting and repair on machinery
• Ability to use multimeter
• GMP experience is a plus
• PLC experience is a plus

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrisonburg, VA.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Harrisonburg,VA.
