Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Outpatient Clinic | Contract Assignment Position Overview

We are seeking experienced Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for a 13-week contract assignment in an outpatient clinic setting. The ideal candidates will have prior clinic experience and the ability to provide high-quality, patient-centered care across multiple outpatient service lines.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an outpatient clinic environment.

• Support clinical services across Family Practice, Behavioral Health, Internal Medicine, and Urgent Care settings.

• Perform patient intake, vital signs, assessments, and documentation.

• Assist providers with exams, procedures, and clinical workflows.

• Administer medications and treatments per scope of practice and clinic protocols.

• Coordinate patient care and communicate relevant clinical information to providers and care teams.

• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

• Support operations across multiple clinic locations as needed.

Schedule

• Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (occasionally until 6:00 PM as needed)

• 80 hours per two-week pay period (no exceptions)

• May require coverage at alternate clinic locations

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2) years of LPN/LVN experience required.

• Prior outpatient clinic experience strongly preferred.

• Experience in one or more of the following areas preferred:

  • Family Practice

  • Behavioral Health

  • Internal Medicine

  • Urgent Care

• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to adapt to multiple clinic environments and workflows.

Required Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS)

• EMR System: Cerner

• Holiday coverage required

Additional Information

• Must be flexible and willing to support multiple clinic locations as needed.

• Compliance and onboarding requirements must be completed prior to assignment start.

• Holiday pay applies for work performed on designated holidays:

  • New Year's Day

  • Independence Day

  • Thanksgiving Day

  • Christmas Day
