Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)

Location: Hawaii
Setting: Remote/Telehealth

Position Details:

• Full-Time
• Salary: $115,000 to $120,000 a year
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) for a full-time telehealth position serving clients through virtual therapy. This role centers on helping individuals manage mental health concerns through assessment, counseling, treatment planning, and ongoing support. You will play an important part in helping clients improve functioning, work through personal challenges, and stay engaged in care from the convenience of a remote setting.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver scheduled telehealth therapy sessions in a professional and timely manner
• Complete initial assessments and gather relevant clinical history
• Create treatment plans with measurable goals and review them regularly
• Provide counseling for common mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief, and stress
• Keep detailed, accurate, and compliant clinical records
• Evaluate client response to treatment and adjust care plans as needed
• Maintain confidentiality and follow all professional and legal standards
• Refer clients to outside resources or higher levels of care when appropriate

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field
• Active LMHC license
• At least 1 year of post-licensure counseling experience preferred
• Strong assessment, treatment planning, and documentation skills
• Comfortable providing care in a remote or telehealth setting
• Reliable internet connection and ability to work independently in a professional home office environment
