We are looking for a competitive, sales-driven, and highly motivated Italian Wine & Spirits Market Development Manager to join our team. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing your own initiatives and aggressive sales strategies to increase sales in all markets (Maryland, Washington, DC, Virginia, and Delaware.)

The ideal candidate knows how to get the sale, leaning into their strong communication and interpersonal skills to convert potential customers into new clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•  Develop and execute a strategy to execute against key sales metrics
•  Support sales team in key on and off premise accounts that have strong Italian wine and spirits presence
•  Initiate contact and follow up with potential customers to present our new products or services
•  Schedule and participate in events that have high ROI
•  Market work with winery representatives
•  Inform company of all sales activities, including new business development, account status, customer needs, potential customers, and issues with competition via CRM
•  Attend online and in-person meetings, training, trade shows, and sales events

QUALIFICATIONS:
•  Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
•  A bachelor’s degree or high school diploma is preferred
•  Should have working knowledge of CRM
•  You will need 5+ years of outside sales experience in the DMV Region
•  Fluent in Italian
•  Extensive knowledge of Italian wine and spirits
•  You must have driver’s license and reliable vehicle
