Job Description

STARR Restaurants   is a leader in the restaurant industry with a proven commitment to excellence including James Beard awards, Michelin Stars, and some of the top-rated concepts in their respective markets. Driven by a luminary’s vision and defined by our world-class culinary stars, whose distinct tastes offer each guest an experience that is at once spirited and sophisticated. Like a restaurant kitchen during dinner service, things move fast around here – and we like it that way.

We are seeking dynamic, service-oriented Hospitality Interns to join our internship program. This immersive experience is designed for students who are eager to gain hands-on exposure to both the corporate and operational sides of one of the most respected restaurant groups in the industry.

Interns will gain an understanding of how a multi-concept restaurant group operates. The program is designed to develop future hospitality leaders by combining structured learning, mentorship, and real-world experience.

Program Description

  • The program will commence mid-June 2026 and conclude at the beginning of August 2026.
  • Interns will work 25 hours per week during the program – please note that schedules may include nights and weekends
  • The program is designed to identify and develop future talent, with the potential for interns to be considered for full-time roles after graduation based on performance and business needs

Responsibilities

  • Participate in structured rotations across restaurant operations
  • Observe and support day-to-day departmental and restaurant activities
  • Attend meetings, trainings, and leadership discussions
  • Complete special projects or assignments as determined by department leaders
  • Engage in regular feedback and check-ins with mentors and program leaders
  • Uphold STARR Restaurants’ standards, policies, and commitment to excellence

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a degree in hospitality, business, or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in hospitality, food & beverage, retail, or customer service
  • Strong interest in restaurant operations and the hospitality industry
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including some nights and weekends
  • Reliable transportation required; housing and transportation costs are the responsibility of the intern

In addition to submitting a current resume, candidates are required to include a short-written response (250-400 words) addressing the following:

What excites you most about working in hospitality, and how do you see this internship helping you grow in that field?

STARR Restaurants is an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran, or disability status.
