Job Description

Key Responsibilities 

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems including furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, and ductless units.
• Perform system tune-ups, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
• Identify opportunities for system upgrades, replacements, or efficiency improvements.
• Accurately document service activities, parts used, and recommendations using company software.
• Communicate effectively with customers, explaining technical issues and solutions in a clear, friendly manner.
• Adhere to safety procedures, company policies, and local HVAC codes and regulations.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours service (as scheduled).
• Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment in excellent working order.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of HVAC service experience.
• EPA Section 608 Certification required.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Professional appearance and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and perform work in confined spaces or on ladders.
• Work in various weather conditions for extended periods.
