Job Description
Dependable and safety-conscious Warehouse Order Selector with extensive experience operating electric pallet jacks in fast-paced distribution environments. Proven track record of meeting strict production metrics while maintaining high order accuracy and safely navigating temperature-controlled zones. Adept at building stable, well-wrapped pallets, managing voice-to-pick systems, and adhering to strict food safety and OSHA standards. A dedicated team player committed to efficiency, cleanliness, and damage-free material handling.
salary: $17.5 - $18 per hour

Responsibilities
- Select Orders: Accurately pick products (case goods, perishables, frozen items) using a voice-to-pick system, RF scanner, or paper pick sheets.
- Build Pallets: Stack and arrange products onto pallets efficiently to ensure stability, preventing damage to fragile items (e.g., placing heavier cases at the bottom).
- Secure Loads: Wrap completed pallets securely with shrink wrap and label them correctly for the staging and loading docks.
- Operate Electric Pallet Jacks: Safely ride and maneuver an electric pallet jack (end-rider/center-rider) through warehouse aisles, including temperature-controlled zones (cooler/freezer).
- Pre-Trip Inspections: Perform daily safety checks on equipment (brakes, horn, battery, controls) before starting a shift and report any malfunctions.
- Maintain Equipment: Plug in pallet jacks at charging stations at the end of shifts or as needed.
The essential functions of this role include:

- working up to 15 hrs of overtime per week
